FAQs

  • Our berries are all grown in tunnel houses which extends our growing season out from October until May with the help of the Canterbury sunshine.

The tunnel houses offer protection and warmth and the strawberries thrive in this environment.

  • The amazing flavour of our strawberries is a secret we will never tell!

It comes from a combination of the variety we grow and a secret recipe which the strawberries are fed through the hydroponic watering system.

  • Our berries are grown using a Intergrated Pest Management System (IPM).

IPM systems utilises organic methods with the release of beneficial predators and use of organic sprays and nutrients to control pests and diseases. Our berries are monitored daily for signs of pests and disease.

The use of traditional pesticides is an absolute last resort for us.
